Following a generous gift made by the late Sri Krishna Pathak, a Friend of the College, Exeter College seeks to elect to the SKP Scholarship from among students who are normally resident in India and have an undergraduate degree from an institution in India, who also have an offer of admission to study for a DPhil at Oxford University, starting in the academic year 2016–17.
Where a suitable candidate is identified, the Scholarship will be awarded in conjunction with an Oxford University Clarendon Fund award, and together these awards will fund all University and College fees and a grant to cover living expenses. The Scholarship is awarded for one year in the first instance, and will be renewable for two further years subject to satisfactory academic progress being made.
Apply by the University's January 2017 deadline for your course (Friday 6 January 2017 or Friday 20 January 2017)
This scholarship will provide full recommended allowance of £13,590 per annum in addition to clarendon award.
Applicants should apply to the university directly for a Clarendon Award, marking Exeter as their preferred College. If an applicant is successful in attaining a Clarendon Award and meets the above criteria, he/she will automatically be considered for a SKP scholarship.
