Some of the most critical problems that our country has been facing for years and end are that of illiteracy and poverty. One of the most effective solutions to solve these is education, but a great margin of people cannot afford to get them self educated. In such a situation, scholarship is that one thing which can not only provide people a financial aid to move on the path of education but also encourage them to choose that path. Keeping this in mind, ScholFin has launched the Raisoni Scholarships Class 10, 12 and Diploma students, in association with The Raisoni Group, in order to uplift the meritorious and needy students by appreciating them for their satisfactory performance in class 10th, 12th and diploma in the year 2016.

These scholarships are as follows-

  1. Sadabai Raisoni Scholarship for Girls
  2. G. H. Raisoni Scholarship for Boys

Scholarship Amount-

The selected students will receive ONE TIME scholarship award of Rs 10,000/-

No. of Scholarships-

100 students will be able to benefit from these scholarships, i.e. 50 girls and 50 boys. The scholarship will be distributed as follows-

Eligibility Criteria-

  • The scholarships are open for studies in India and for Indian nationals only.
  • The scholarship shall be admissible only for pursuing full time regular courses by ISC/CBSE/MCI/AICTE/UGC/Association of Indian Universities/State Education Boards/State Government/Central Government.
  • In order to apply for-
  • Scholarship after class 10 in 2016; candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks or CGPA 8 in class 10th.
  • Scholarship after class 12 in 2016; candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks in class 12th.
  • Scholarship for diploma, candidate should have obtained minimum 60% marks in the last appeared exam.

Only the students who have appeared for the above mentioned exams in the year 2016 can apply.

  • Gross annual income of family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than 4 lakhs per annum; candidates will be required to produce an income certificate at the time of availing the scholarship.
  • The age limit of the applicant is maximum 20 years as on 10th of July, 2016.
  • Since, it is a merit-cum-means scholarship, students will be selected on the basis of their performance and need for the scholarship.
  • The award of the scholarship shall not confer any right of employment with RGI group of institutions or its joint ventures.

Deadline details-

The applications are open from 30th May 2016 and the last day to apply for the scholarships is 10th July 2016.

Procedure to apply-

If you fulfill the above criteria, you just need to go to Raisoni Scholarship, fill the scholarship form and submit it along with a scanned copy of your mark sheet.

It is advisable that you must keep a copy of certificate of income of your parents ready, as you will be required to submit it in case you are declared a winner. The scholarship money will not be transferred without receiving the certificate of income.

How is Raisoni Scholarship different from other scholarships?

The Raisoni Scholarships though like other scholarships is an initiative to appreciate the performance of students in their examinations and encourage them to perform better further in their academics, but this scholarship is not limited to the students of Raisoni Group of Institutions, the scholarship invites applications from all over the country and has very simple eligibility criteria and procedure to apply. Not only that, it is also not restricted to students of a particular caste or religion, it is open for all students irrespective of their caste or religion, the main emphasis being the students who are needy and deserving.
