19th Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST)-2018
Every year on the last Sunday of January SEMCI India holds its most prestigious Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test(NEST) for degree students of Science, Engineering & Medical Courses at their test centre in all major cities across India. The main objective of conducting such test at regular intervals is to ignite students’ interest in pursuing accurate knowledge, so that they are mentally prepared for taking up tough competitive exams such as CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL and similar types of other tests for admission to higher studies in good institutes as well as for jobs in reputed companies.
NEST scholarship is specially designed to students’ choice, skill and interest as is essential at this stage of their education. Moreover, they also get instant cash prize worth amount Rs. 1 lakhs and certificates of appreciation as incentives for demonstrating outstanding and exemplary performance in the test. 1. Registration for Nest I & II scholarship -2018 for degree students of science, engineering and medical courses are open now
2. The last date to apply without late fees is 30th September 2017. Then there will be late fees of Rs.100 in October/November 2017 and Rs.200 in December 2017
3. Date of Nest Scholarship Test 28th January 2018 (Sunday)
4. The result of Nest Scholarship Test will be declared on 5th April 2018. You will be able to download your result and certificate of appreciation from the website in the 1st week of June, 2018
1.Nest I & II awards scholarships worth Rs.30,000 to Rs. 100,000/-
2.Certificates of appreciation shall be granted to all NEST Scholarship participants who score 40% or more in total of all five segments in the test.
Participation fees for Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test for degree students
Nest-I Rs.600/-(Rupees Six Hundred Only) extra late fees, if applicable
Nest-II Rs.700/-(Rupees Seven Hundred Only) extra late fees if applicable
Further, if you want unsolved question paper of Nest I & Nest II exam for last six years (2006-2011) you will have to pay extra Rs. 300(Rupees three hundred only)

Follow the steps listed below for offline application process:
Arrange a DD of required amount in favour of SEMCI INDIA payable at Mumbai
Download the scholarship application form from the Nest Site
Fill-up the application form in all respect and affix your recent passport size photograph in the space provided on it.
Completely filled-up application form along with the Demand Draft of required amount should be submitted at the following address:

1.There is no need to verify/attest any document
2.Do not attach any other document apart from DD to the application form
3.Applications can also be sent in bulk in a single envelope by forming a group of two or more students drawing a single DD of the cumulative amount so as to save time and money.
4.Student topping the list in a category cannot apply again in the same category
5.It is a privilege of the colleges to charge handling expense of Rs.25/- per candidate for accumulation, assessment and dispatch of application form to NEST office if applications are sent via school/college.
6.Admit cards for NEST I &II Scholarship test will be sent via e-mail just a week prior to the test i.e. on 22nd January 2018
