The primary objective of the Felix Scholarship is to stimulate the Felix scholars by exposing them to academic study, cultures, experiences and friendships that they would not otherwise have had the chance to sample. It is
thaThe Felix Scholarship was founded to offer gifted underprivileged students from India and certain other developing countries the opportunity of furthering their postgraduate education by attending a university in the UK.hopedtthis in turn will endow them with skills and visions, enabling them, when returning to their country of origin, to contribute to the culture and welfare of their home communities. The no of scholarship offered by Felix has risen approximately 20 in the current academic year. Till date total no of 393 scholarships has been awarded of which 34 have been awarded to students from countries other than India.
1.Candidates must be Indian nationals and not currently be living or studying outside of India and must have not previously studied for one year or more outside India.
2.Candidates must have at least a first class Bachelor’s degree from an Indian university or comparable institution. Exceptionally those with an upper second-class degree at the Bachelor’s level may be considered if they hold a first class degree at the Master’s level.
3.Those who already hold degrees from universities outside India are not eligible to apply.
4.Those who already hold a Master’s Degree cannot apply for a Master’s Degree scholarship.
5.Those who already hold a PhD/Phil cannot apply for a PhD/DPhil scholarship.
6.Those who have already taken up a scholarship to pursue PhD studies at an Indian university are also not eligible for a Felix Scholarship.

Scholarship Amount Details
The Felix Scholarships will cover full fees, living costs, a return airfare, and provide additional allowances for books, equipment, warm clothing etc
1. The candidate who are willing to apply for Felix Scholarship has to download the form the official website.
2.Candidates should note that an application can be made to only one institution.
3.Candidates for the Felix Scholarships at Oxford should not complete the application form. Instead they should check the Felix Scholarship box in the Scholarships section of the University's Application Form for Graduate Study when applying for admission to their course. Candidates elected for interview must also complete a short questionnaire. This will be sent to them when they are short listed for interview.
